The Mentoring program is offered for 3, 6 and 12 month periods, with a 3 month minimum - Kawa Kickstart Program.
In our experience, durations that are shorter are less effective in fostering trusted partnerships and steady growth through organic dialogue and genuine rapport.
Our program is built on selecting only the best-matched mentors and connecting them to individual mentees.
We believe a strong foundation must be established to foster trusted relationships and create reliable pillars as a starting point - this is the key to the program's success. The program is about ongoing support, not just a one-time visit for the mentees.
Kawa offers different programs tailored to individual mentee needs, goals and funding allowance.

"KAWA KICKSTART & DISCOVERY " 3 MONTHS
A 3-month starter program to help mentees, family and care team determine if the program’s goals and methods align with the mentees needs. Perfect for those new to Kawa Mentoring, it includes all key deliverables like goal planning, progress reports, and success storylines to track progress and effectiveness.
"KAWA EMPOWER & ELEVATE" 6 MONTHS
Our 6-month goal program helps mentees make real progress with clear goals and steady support! Over six months, mentees will work with your mentor to develop key skills, track milestones, and stay on track for success. With regular check-ins and progress updates, mentees have everything you need to hit those goals and keep growing!
"KAWA GROW & THRIVE" 12 MONTHS
The 12-month program takes mentoring to the next level, offering more time to dive deeper into personal growth and skill-building. With a full year of support, mentees get the chance to work through challenges, fine-tune their goals, and see lasting transformation. This longer timeframe allows for more flexibility, helping both mentors and mentees adjust and refine strategies for continued success. You’ll build stronger, more sustainable progress, with plenty of time to achieve bigger, long-term goals!

It’s important to have clear deliverables that track and show growth and success. These provide a clear roadmap and break down the key milestones and outcomes of mentoring, so everyone is well updated on progress and knows what to expect along the way.

Mentee Goal Planning & Strategy Session Report – This sets clear goals from the start, ensuring both mentors and mentees are on the same page. It also helps plan out sessions, letting everyone know how often to meet and what to focus on to get the most out of the experience.

Session Notes – Think of these session notes as the behind-the-scenes magic that keeps everyone aligned. They track milestones, highlight areas for improvement, and make sure everyone stays in the loop and excited about the mentee's journey!

Mentee Achievement Journal – This journal is like a progress diary that celebrates the big wins and keeps the momentum going. It helps stay on track, spot areas for improvement, and ensures goals stay fresh for continued growth.

The Success Storyboard – The end-of-program report is like a highlight reel of the mentee’s progress and key achievements. It’s a great tool for planning improvements and proving the program’s success to funders, partners, and stakeholders.

Next Steps Strategy & Aftercare Plan – A follow-up plan helps keep the momentum going after the program ends, ensuring the mentee stays on track with their goals. It’s also a chance to reflect, celebrate wins, and stay connected for continued support.
